Senior Teacher
This is a fabulous opportunity for a dedicated and organised person to join the school team at Graveney Primary School for a Maternity Cover, likely to be for one academic year. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to join the school’s team. This role is suitable for someone with KS2 experience and a thirst for leadership however we encourage anyone to apply who feels they have the necessary skills and abilities to fulfil the role.

6. Have a kind, caring and nurturing disposition

8. Have had successful involvement with driving school improvement.
9. Have an ability to develop positive, meaningful and productive relationships with pupils and strong links with their parents
10. Respect confidentiality and the potential sensitivities of working in a school
11. Have experience working in Key Stage Two and a drive to be part of the senior leadership team
12. Have knowledge and understanding of effective ways to enable inclusive education
13. Be able to demonstrate in their application that they can fulfil the main duties of the job description and person specification as a minimum
14. Be a Designated Safeguarding Lead (or willing to be trained)
15. A commitment to professional development
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check along with other pre-employment checks which must be undertaken before the role is confirmed by the school.
