FPSG's client continued expansion is allowing them to spin-up a new engineering hub. They build powerful, scalable, software that sets a new standard for their sector. They are set aprat by early adoption of next-generation AI-augmented engineering, where they are pioneering how software is designed, developed, and delivered using intelligent agentic solutions.
In this AI Engineering role, the key responsibilities will include:
1. Contribute to the design of multi-agent systems with coding-focused agents. IE code writer, reviewer, tester.
2. Construct the prompts, logic, and scaffolding that guide each agent's behavior
3. Handle the AI tools; enabling agents to access the file system, test runners, version control, and API connection.
4. Drive the evaluation and improvement of agents' output, performance, collaboration, feedback loops.
5. Prototyping new coding assistant workflow using open-source LLMs
6. Contribute to architecture discussion on agentic build pipelines
7. Contribute to building AI-powered interface for internal tooling
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate experience including:
8. A minimum of 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with hands on familiarity with a tech stack similar to: Java, TypeScript, React, MySQL
9. Hands on practical applied experience with AI-assisted development tooling to include several of: Windsurf, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Enterprise ChatGPT (for development).
10. Daily hands on Agentic AI usage and modification via LangChain / LangGraph is of significant interest.
11. Exposure to LLM APIs, codegen platforms, vector databases, agentic frameworks is highly desired.
12. A disruptor mindset and interest in building solutions for real-world impact
13. A passion for experimentation, iteration, and continuous learning
The key to progression in applications for this role will be an experienced software engineer who is eager to build smarter systems by pairing technical expertise with emerging AI tools. This is not an AI researcher post, rather you do need hands-on experience applying AI tools to real-world development workflows.
