Sheridan Maine is partnering with a leading accountancy practice to recruit an Accounts Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to step into a senior, client-facing role where you will manage a diverse portfolio of rural business clients.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and sign off on accounts and tax work, ensuring high technical standards.
* Work closely with senior advisers to support a diverse range of rural clients.
* Identify opportunities to add value for clients and the wider business.
* Collaborate with internal specialists to offer holistic client support.
* Coach and mentor junior team members.
* Contribute ideas and improvements to help shape the future of the team.
The Successful Accounts Manager Will Require
* Strong background in an accounting practice.
* Fully Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA).
* Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
* Confident in reviewing and approving complex accounts and tax documents.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach.
* Passionate about developing others and sharing knowledge.
