RPH has a robust new opportunity pipeline and this project management role would help research, plan and support all new venture development activities.
The role of Project Manager will be to take the lead on all new projects as well as to provide input into existing projects.
The successful candidate should be driven by the desire to provide operational and strategic excellence and support across every aspect of our business.
There will be a particular focus on business development and projects coveringPlymouth and the South West of England.
There will also be the opportunity to get involved in supporting the General Manager at Peninsula Heart Clinic with daily operational and other business inputs to ensure the maintenance and delivery of a safe and effective business unit in partnership with University Hospital Plymouth.
Main duties of the job
To provide informed research, analytical and operational management support for current and new business ventures in partnership with strategic alliances.
The role will be accountable for identifying areas for growth within the healthcare sector and as such will be accountable for the design, delivery and on going relationship maintenance of both current and future business areas.
This is an exciting role to be at the leading edge of innovative healthcare operational practices and to influence the strategic direction of Regents Park Healthcare, whilst keeping patient care central to all aspects of any projects and partnerships.

Job responsibilities
Actively seek out and research commercialopportunities for further growth within healthcare sector, providingrecommendations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team on potentialstrategic partnerships.
Prepare and write business project plans, heads ofterms, business reports and any other business execution materials.
Research and analyse potential new business leads andtenders, providing management information (including financial analysis),working with internal stakeholders to provide compelling supportingpresentations / documentation to support new business opportunity.
Undertake regular management reviews of existingcontracts against agreed KPIs, highlight where there may be opportunities forexpansion or attention needed to maintain contractual terms.
Maintain effective data base of all contractualdocumentation, working with local managers to ensure these are kept accurateand reflective of current business partnership arrangements.
Develop own knowledge of clinical practices /terminology to allow for informed discussion and debate when reserving orcommenting on strategic business operations.
Continually monitor national healthcare trends, usingthe information for identifying strategic opportunities.

Qualifications
Essential
1. MBA or other post graduate management qualification.
2. Proficient in the use of all Microsoft 365 applications, including Power BI
Experience
Essential
3. 3 to 5 years post qualification experience in managing business development projects.
4. 3 - 5 years experience in negotiating contracts and preparing tender documents, including business analysis and designing compelling presentations to potential strategic partners.
5. 3- 5 years experience working with and supporting senior managers.
Desirable
6. Healthcare services experience in NHS or private sector
