* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Keeping students engaged, focused, and on task
* Providing clear feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
* Supporting the wider school community and maintaining a positive learning environment

This role provides valuable experience in classroom management and is ideal for graduates considering teaching.

Teaching Assistants (SEN, SEMH & Alternative Provision)

You will work in specialist settings supporting students with additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), SEN, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

* Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
* Supporting students with additional learning or behavioural needs
* Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
* Implementing behaviour support strategies and individual learning plans
* Helping students build confidence, independence, and emotional regulation
* Monitoring progress and feeding back to staff
* Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

These roles are highly rewarding and ideal for graduates interested in psychology, education, or youth support careers.

Future Teachers – (School‑Based Teacher Training)

This structured pathway is designed for graduates who want to become qualified teachers.

Year 1 – Cover Supervisor:

* Deliver lessons and gain classroom experience
* Support departments with interventions and school activities
* Build confidence in behaviour management and lesson delivery
* Receive mentoring and ongoing professional development

Year 2 – Teacher Training:

* Train in your chosen subject area
* Teach a reduced timetable while developing your skills
* Receive mentoring, observations, and structured feedback
* Work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and potentially a PGCE

This is a fully supported, school‑based route into teaching with no tuition costs.
