The Opportunity
At The Liquorist, we are looking for a Kitchen Porter to assist our kitchen team. No experience is needed – we’ll provide all the training to help you build the skills you need.
As a Kitchen Porter, can you…
1. Demonstrate a great eye for detail to keep high standards
2. Be organised and have fantastic time keeping skills
3. Maintain a clean & safe environment for guests and colleagues at The Liquorist
What you will be doing as a Kitchen Porter
4. General daily cleaning of surfaces and floors in the kitchen
5. Ensuring all cleaning schedules are kept up to date and signed off when complete
6. Maintaining the cleanliness of food storage areas
7. Washing up of dirty plates, cutlery and kitchen utensils
8. Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
9. Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment such as Cookers and Grills
10. Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation e.g. peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables

The Liquorist offers high energy and excitement into Portsmouth's nightlife scene, giving guests a fabulous selection of glamorous cocktails, premium spirits, wines, and craft beers. We are a fun British pub with a glamorous side; style, excitement, and a buzzing energy sit on the waterside in Gunwharf Quays. In the summer sun, the outdoor seating area is the largest in Portsmouth's Quays. With a 10-foot projector and HD TV's, we have a great spot for our guests to watch sporting events and unwind with friends. On the food menu, our guests will find comfort food as well as some more elevated plates, packed full of flavour.
