We are seeking an organised, proactive and collaborative Administrator to join our professional services team in a dynamic academic environment.
This varied role sits at the heart of the Department, leading the administration of our Visiting Scholar programme while supporting key academic processes, including professional accreditation (RTPI and RICS) and MPhil timetabling. You will coordinate end-to-end visiting arrangements, ensuring compliance with University and immigration requirements, and play a key role in delivering a welcoming and well‑managed experience for scholars from around the world.
Alongside this, you will contribute to the smooth running of the Department through flexible administrative support, assisting with timetabling, accreditation activities, student processes, and providing cross‑team support during peak periods.
About You
You will be a highly organised and reliable administrator with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team, you will bring sound judgement, a proactive mindset, and a flexible approach to a busy and evolving environment.
With excellent communication skills, you will engage confidently with academics, students, and international visitors, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and a strong service focus. A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality administrative support within a world‑leading academic institution.
