Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–12:00pm
Overtime: Available at enhanced rates

Syntech Recruitment are supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer near Uxbridge who are looking to recruit a Pipe Bender to join their specialist manufacturing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly or pipe bending who enjoys working from engineering drawings and producing high-quality components to exacting standards.

The Role
As a Pipe Bender, you'll be responsible for manufacturing and forming precision pipework components used within highly engineered aerospace products.
Key responsibilities include:
*
Setting and operating pipe bending machinery
*
Hand-forming and fitting pipes to form blocks and measuring equipment
*
Cutting pipes using electric saws and associated equipment
*
Working from engineering drawings, specifications and build plans
*
Adjusting and forming pipes to meet precise dimensional requirements
*
Using measuring equipment to verify accuracy and quality
*
Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks
*
Maintaining productivity whilst achieving high-quality standards
*
Following all health and safety procedures and manufacturing processes
*
Supporting continuous improvement and 5S activities
*
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
What We're Looking For
*
Previous manufacturing or engineering experience
*
Experience operating bending pipe/tube machinery or working with formed metal components
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Familiarity with engineering hand tools such as Torque Wrenches
*
Basic understanding of measuring equipment such as verniers and calipers
