We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Director to lead and develop our Commercial Valuation team in London. This is a key role within a high-performing department, offering the opportunity to work on a wide variety of valuation instructions and grow client relationships across the region. Key Responsibilities Generate new business through existing contacts and proactive outreach. Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and key market stakeholders. Oversee and process valuation instructions, ensuring high-quality client delivery. Support team leadership by mentoring junior colleagues and reviewing reports. Deliver valuation reports independently and maintain direct client contact. Ensure consistent quality and continuous improvement in client service delivery. Represent the full range of property services to prospective and existing clients. Contribute to the strategic growth of the valuation function. Essential Skills and Experience In-depth understanding of commercial property valuation, especially for loan security and financial reporting. Strong track record in undertaking valuations and appraisals using industry tools such as Argus. Exceptional written English skills with the ability to produce precise and high-quality valuation reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with KEL and Argus Developer is advantageous. Personal Qualities Professional, self-assured, and motivated with a proactive mindset. Organised and commercially minded, able to prioritise and optimise fee-earning potential. Strong team player with sound judgement and business acumen. Familiarity with the London and surrounding commercial/residential markets is a plus.
