About the Role
Speech and Language Therapist (Bankside College, Worcestershire) – 15 hours per week, flexible on which two days are selected. Permanent contract with term‑time only. The role is situated within a multidisciplinary team in a specialist day school setting.
Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence and SEMH needs.
* Hold a therapeutic caseload and work collaboratively with the education team, respecting the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working.
* Contribute to staff training and consultation, and support the clinical development of apprentices, students and therapy assistants.
* Participate in research projects, special interest groups and broader therapeutic networks.
* Safeguard children and young people, maintaining a strong safeguarding culture and supporting decision‑making for pupils.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc (Hons) or equivalent).
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Willingness to attend professional training and pursue further qualifications relevant to the client group.
