As a member of the site’s Senior Leadership Team, this position contributes to the overall performance and strategy of the site. This position leads and manages operational performance in one of 2 production hubs, on a high-hazard upper tier COMAH site. They are responsible for delivering Key Performance Indicators in your area aligned with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & People.

* 1. Safety, Health, Environment & Compliance
* · Ensure full compliance with all relevant EHS policies and procedures.

* · Lead incident investigations when necessary identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate actions to prevent reoccurence.

* · Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.
* · Drive continuous improvement in productivity, reliability, and cost control.
* · Manage plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and start-ups in line with safety and operational
* requirements.
* 3. People Management · Build a highly effective team empowered to deliver exceptional results. · Ensure adequate staffing, training, and competency management. · Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance. Set clear expectations through the PD&R process, coach, develop, and hold individuals accountable for delivery. 25%
* 4. Strategic & Financial Planning
* · Contribute to site strategy, budgeting, and capital planning
* · Monitor and control operational expenditure (OPEX) and support capital projects
* (CAPEX).
* Qualifications (minimally required education, work experience, knowledge and licensure/certifications)
* Education Degree in Chemistry / Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role.
* Experience Leadership experience in a high-hazard chemical or process industry. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies (desirable).
* Knowledge Knowledge of COMAH regulations and process safety management.
* Licensure & Certifications NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent safety qualification. (desirable)
