Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced cleaner to join our construction site team in Pontefract. As a site cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our site facilities, ensuring a safe and organised working environment for our team.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces within welfare facilities such as restrooms, offices, and break areas.
2. Emptying waste bins and disposing of rubbish in designated areas, adhering to site waste management procedures.
3. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
4. Assist with periodic deep cleaning tasks as required.
5. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
6. Report any maintenance issues or health hazards to the site management team promptly.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience in cleaning, preferably within a construction or industrial environment.
8. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
9. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
10. Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
11. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
12. Compliance with health and safety regulations.
Working Patterns:
This is a contract role on a long-term basis for the right candidate! If successful, you will be required to work 4 hours per day, 5 days per week.
