About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a Group Tax Manager to join our in-house Tax team. Working in a small team of knowledgeable and experienced tax professionals, you will support the Group Head of Tax in managing the group's tax function. The role will cover various taxes and so we welcome applicants who have a wide breadth of experience across all taxes. Key Responsibilities Preparation and review of the Group's annual corporation tax computations, returns, and quarterly tax provisions Oversee tax reporting under FRS 102, including preparation and review of group and entity-level tax provisions and financial statement disclosures Assist with the management of the Group's overall tax position, including loss utilisation, Corporate Interest Restriction, transfer pricing, R&D claims, capital allowances, Country-by-Country reporting and Pillar 2 compliance Act as one of the key points of contact for HMRC, managing enquiries, drafting technical responses, and supporting the annual Business Risk Review Assist in ensuring compliance across indirect and employment taxes (VAT, Plastic Packaging Tax, PAYE Settlement Agreements) while strengthening tax governance, SAO, Corporate Criminal Offence and UK tax strategy requirements About You You will be a qualified tax or accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or CTA) with strong in-house tax experience and a broad understanding across corporate, indirect and employment taxes. Confident operating in a fast-paced commercial environment, you will bring a hands-on approach, strong technical capability, strive for continuous improvement and the ability to build effective relationships across the business and with HMRC.
