JOB DESCRIPTION
* Reception Teaching Assistant
* Support children aged 4–5 in their first year of formal education
* Assist with phonics, early reading, and writing development
* Deliver and support engaging, play-based learning activities
* Use your creativity through arts, storytelling, music, and role play
* Help build children’s confidence, communication, and social skills
* Work closely with teachers and EYFS staff to create a nurturing environment
* ASAP Start
* Full-time / Term Time Only
* Located in Tower Hamlets
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Creative graduate (Arts, Drama, English, Psychology, Music or similar)
* Experience working with children, ideally within Early Years or Reception
* Understanding of phonics and early literacy (or is eager to develop this)
* Energetic, proactive, and nurturing in their approach
