Our client, is seeking a dedicated and trustworthy Night Inspector to join their team on a contract basis. This role is critical for ensuring the functionality and safety of highway signage throughout Leicestershire.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting night-time inspections of highway signs across Leicestershire
Driving around the county to verify if the signage lights are operational
Using a provided checklist to record and report the condition of each sign
Providing clear yes or no responses for operational status
Communicating and checking in with a designated person regularly
Identifying any signs that require maintenance or replacement
Maintaining accurate records for follow-up actions and potential cost implications
Job Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections
Reliable and trustworthy with a commitment to safety and accuracy
Local to Leicestershire with the ability to use own vehicle for inspections
Proficient in recording information accurately and succinctly
