What does this Bank Support Worker job involve? Hours of Work:Bank Staff - Approx 20 Hours Per Week - Typical shifts: 07:00 - 09:00 / 17:00 - 19:00 • Provide personal care with dignity - Support with washing, dressing, grooming, and daily routines to promote comfort and independence. • Assist with meals and healthy living - Help prepare food, encourage nutritious habits, and maintain a safe, comfortable home environment. • Support with medication and appointments - Administer medication and accompany individuals to GP visits or other essential appointments. • Encourage social and community engagement - Help individuals stay active in hobbies, school, or local activities to reduce isolation and build confidence. • Offer companionship and emotional support - Share conversations, play, read, and provide reassurance to foster inclusion and wellbeing. • Communicate with families and colleagues - Work collaboratively to ensure everyone feels informed, supported, and involved in care decisions. • Maintain accurate care records - Observe wellbeing, document daily notes, and celebrate progress to uphold high-quality care. • Empower independence and self-esteem - Promote choice, confidence, and personal growth in every interaction. • Deliver care rooted in kindness and respect - Build trusting relationships through patience, empathy, and consistent support. • Make a meaningful impact every day - Contribute to a brighter, more fulfilling life for young adults and older individuals.
