Nursing Associate - Respiratory

The closing date is 04 August 2025

We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Nursing Associate to join our specialist Respiratory Nursing Team. This is a fantastic chance to develop specialist skills in a supportive team environment.

You will deliver care across hospital, outpatient, and home settings. Working with registered nurses, fellow nursing associates, and medical staff, you will support consultant- and nurse-led clinics, contribute to audit and service review, and provide high-quality, individualised care to children and young people with respiratory conditions.

This is a unique opportunity to work in an evolving specialty where Nursing Associates are already well established, bridging the gap between direct patient care and specialist support.

What You'll Need:

Foundation Degree in Nursing Associate Studies

Current NMC Registration

Confidence in providing compassionate, patient-centred care

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment

Main duties of the job

You will report to the Department Manager, and your responsibilities will include:

Deliver safe and compassionate care under the leadership of registered nurses

Support respiratory outpatient clinics alongside consultants and nurses

Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and patient reviews

Engage in audits and contribute to the review of patient care

Support new starters and student learners (post-preceptorship)

Contribute to service development and quality improvement programmes
