About the Role
:
As a Glazier you will be working alongside Dover District Council providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.
As a Glazier you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing windows to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of tenants. Skilled in installing and replacing glass in residential properties, often working on double-glazing units, safety glass, and energy-efficient fittings. You will be knowledgeable about building regulations and health and safety requirements specific to social housing, as well as courteous and professional when engaging with residents, ensuring minimal disruption during repairs or installations.
Role Criteria:
1. Previous glazing experience
2. Ability to work at heights
3. Preferable to have social housing experience
4. UK Full driving licence
5. Good communication skills

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
