Job Description
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
3. Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all financial records.
4. Preparation and finalisation of financial statements and reports.
5. Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and financial processes.
6. Financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
7. Tax compliance, including VAT, corporation tax, and other regulatory filings.
8. Cash flow and liquidity management.
9. Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies for financial reviews.
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and external stakeholders.
11. Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts (bank and intercompany).
12. Payroll processing, employee expenses, and pension contributions.
Planning and Budgeting:
13. Support in creating the business plan
14. Prepare yearly budget at granular level to include targets for each function.
Management Presentations:
15. Create the framework for Financial Reporting to the Management
16. Prepare monthly Management Report
Cost Analysis
17. Develop cost analysis framework along with deep dive to key business drivers
18. Identify cost optimisation opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
Finance Manager should have:
19. A strong background in accounting or finance.
20. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
21. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
22. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
23. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
24. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
