Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £48,000 to £53,000 per annum (£55k - £60k+ with potential overtime), plus Annual Bonus, 10% Pension, Profit Share Scheme, Recognition Awards, Overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 10pm till 6am AND short day Friday, 6pm till 12am (perm nights)
Location: Commutable from Newbury, Swindon, Chippenham, Cirencester, Faringdon, Yate, Marlborough, Oxford and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician to work within a busy factory environment, looking after the day-to-day maintenance of their production machinery, completing PPM's and attending swiftly to machinery problems and breakdowns. You will also support various projects that include multi-million-pound machinery upgrades and installations. Responsibilities
Whilst working in this large company, you will benefit from working in a small team on the night shift. The role is focusing on Electrical Maintenance across all plant machinery, with a heavy bias on dealing with breakdowns reactively as well as supporting planned preventative maintenance and project work. The role provides autonomy, accountability and a degree of flexibility. Focusing on electrical maintenance work across all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, planned maintenance shutdowns and project work. Identification of solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs. Support the handover of work to the opposite shift and ensure works are logged and recorded. To work safely at all times and follow safe systems of work. To be actively involved in the development and continued planned preventative maintenance schedule. Machinery in this environment is mainly all plastics related, including extruding, molding, conveyors, mixers, hydraulics.
Requirements
Electrically trained and qualified either through an Apprenticeship or hold electrical engineering qualifications. Electrical background in a similar environment. This could be industrial or production or manufacturing environment. Your job titles may include Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, or Mechanical Technician. We are looking for someone who has SOME of the following mechanical experience; Drives, AC/DC Motors, 3 phase, Sensors, Relays, Inverters, Contactors, Control Panels, PLC's (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron etc) Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger to learn and physically fit Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in
