* Opportunity to work with substantial portfolio of investments gaining experience and contacts not typically available in an early career role.
* Hybrid role with 3 days office based in Shepton Mallet
What will I be doing?
We're working with the commercial investment property portfolio held by Somerset and you'll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
* Undertaking asset management including rent reviews, lease renewals and new lettings.
* Maintaining and analysing the council's property data for use in reports and negotiations.
* Liaising with the Council's external contractors to assist in property management and occasional development projects.
* Preparing assets for disposal.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

* Are MRICS qualified, or working towards it.
* Have the motivation and self-discipline to be an important part of a small and highly motivated team.
* Are personable, in particularly possessing the ability to talk to people and work out how to give them what they want whilst getting what we need.
* Can bring new skills to the team, particularly of interest are AI and IT skills.
