They are looking for a driven, experienced Senior Drainage Engineer, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside an already-established team of experts, based near the bustling, historical town of Guildford.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:
7. Working on projects across the residential, commercial, and retail sectors
8. Contributing to renewable energy projects for public and private sector clientele
9. Completing Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) for Flood Zones 1, 2, and 3
10. Producing Surface Water Management Plans, as well as Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies
11. Preparing Drainage Impact Assessments
12. Designing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) for a range of residential developments and other projects
13. Using software packages, such as MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and Causeway PDS
14. Mentor and manage colleagues across a range of projects, overseeing all aspects from initial inception through to successful delivery
15. Proactively contribute to business development, liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:
16. A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, or a similar, relevant field
17. Extensive experience of working in a design role, within a UK-based consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
18. Demonstrable experience of completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Drainage Strategies, and Drainage Design
19. Highly proficient in the use of software packages, such as MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, etc.
20. Experience of leading projects or people
21. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
22. Good literacy and numeracy skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:
23. Possess Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this
24. Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
25. Good time management and organisational skills
