POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting into the Asset Planning and Workshop Manager, the incumbent will work in the Engineering Workshop in Worcester, focused on EH&S related activities within the Workshop.
DIMENSIONS:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Develop and update risk assessments for workshop activities and equipment.
* Write and revise Workshop Work Instructions (WWIs).
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance.
* Manage the scrapping and disposal of obsolete or non-compliant materials in line with EH&S and company policies.
* Implement corrective actions from EH&S audits.
* Collaborate with workshop staff to ensure procedures are practical and understood.
* Assist in preparing documentation and evidence for audits.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHNS reporting.
* Improve workshop setup and layout and enact changes via the management of change process.
* Ensure compliance with Regulations and EHSQ policies and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven experience in EHNS, workshop operations, or technical documentation.
* Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and safety standards.
* Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* Experience in process improvement or lean methodologies is desirable.
