Equans Data Centers are seeking to appoint Project Engineer – Mechanical, to support our growing Data Centre business.
What you will deliver?
* Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards
* Assist with co-ordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan
* Liaise with Statutory Authorities and Local Authorities as directed by the Site Manager in the submission of all Building Regulation cards as required to allow the progress of the project
* Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports
* Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings in the absence of the Site or Project Manager
* Assist the Site Manager in the management of materials
* Record keeping (diary, drawing register, H&S, COSHH Assessments, As built drawings, Levels & Foundations records, site H&S file)
* Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality environmental and safety requirements

Who are we looking for?
* Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
* Proven technical knowledge of Mechanical Services.
* Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve.
* A keen desire to continually develop knowledge further.
* Be self-motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines.
* Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
* Attention to Health and Safety matters.
* Commercially astute.
* Experience in the data centres sector is desirable.
* Degree or equivalent in an Mechanical discipline is desirable.
