Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. Position: SEND Teacher

Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum, depending on experience (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Are you a passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs? We’re growing – and we’re looking for a dedicated and dynamic SEND Teacher to join our amazing team at Red Kite School in Princes Risborough.
As a dynamic and motivated qualified teacher, you will have a passion for making a lasting impact. In this role, you will support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to flourish both academically and personally.
You will plan and deliver creative, high-impact lessons while supporting the emotional wellbeing of your students. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each child receives holistic, tailored education and care.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across a broad curriculum that meets the academic and emotional needs of each pupil.
Use creative, flexible teaching strategies to support students with complex learning needs, helping them access education at their level.
Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using data to inform planning and interventions that raise achievement and build confidence.
Develop trusting relationships with pupils, understanding their individual SEMH needs and helping them regulate and manage behaviour.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, contributing to consistent, holistic support for each student.
Communicate effectively with parents/carers and external professionals, ensuring joined-up support and progress for the child.
Contribute to the school’s ethos, improvement plans and curriculum development, sharing your ideas and taking an active role in school life.
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and resilient teacher who brings energy, structure, and empathy into the classroom. You will be committed to helping students with SEND and SEMH needs succeed through a personalised, trauma-informed approach.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
Full UK Driving Licence – as some travel to other sites or meetings may be required.
Experience working with children with SEND and/or SEMH needs – in a mainstream or specialist setting.
A person-centred, trauma-informed approach to education and care.
