Role: QHSE Manager
Type: Permanent
Pay: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–16:00
Location: Gloucester
I’m supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Gloucester who are looking to appoint an experienced QHSE Manager to support and drive Health, Safety and Environmental performance across their site.
This role would suit someone with a strong Health & Safety background at Advisor or Engineer level, who also has experience supporting and maintaining ISO management systems and auditing processes, particularly within environmental standards.

Job Description
Support and maintain the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) across Health, Safety and Environmental standards
Conduct internal audits and support external audits, particularly in relation to ISO 14001
Coordinate risk assessments and ensure effective corrective and preventative actions are implemented
Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing improvements
Deliver training and guidance across the site to promote a strong safety-first culture
QHSE Manager
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Strong Health & Safety background within a manufacturing environment
Experience working at H&S Advisor or H&S Engineer level
Good understanding of ISO management systems and auditing, particularly ISO 14001
NEBOSH qualification or equivalent
Experience conducting accident investigations and implementing HSE improvements
Confident communicator with the ability to train and influence across the business
