Aberdein Considine is seeking an Apprentice Conveyancing Support Assistant to join our dynamic Corporate Property Services team. This entry-level position requires the successful candidate to complete their SVQ in Business and Administration alongside their role.
Please note that as this is an Apprenticeship, the salary will align with the National Minimum Wage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collection, distribution, and collection of CPS mail at designated times during the day.
2. Handling incoming mail related to the corporate conveyancing department: collection, allocation, copying (if necessary), filing, and scanning into case history.
3. Opening remortgage files through case import or manual entry.
4. Ordering, receiving, and reviewing legal search reports to determine the category of remortgage transaction.
5. Ordering and following up on redemption statement requests from lenders.
6. Issuing welcome packs to remortgage customers via their preferred method, electronically or by post.
7. Reviewing returned documents from customers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with transaction requirements.
8. Responding to voicemails and emails within client SLA guidelines.
9. Closing files in the case management system upon completion and balancing ledgers.
10. Archiving physical files, scanning documents into the system, and securely disposing of documents.
11. Handling departmental phone inquiries and providing basic case updates where appropriate.
12. Setting up and coordinating Webex meetings.
13. Adhering to LSPG Policies and Procedures at all times.
