Job Title: Social Worker
Location: Sandwell
Rate: £32 per hour
Our client in Sandwell is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their Learning Disabilities and Autism Team.
Responsibilities include:
* Conducting social care assessments for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
* Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Providing support in crisis situations to address immediate risks and needs.
* Managing caseloads to ensure timely support for clients.
* Collaborating with health and partner agencies for multidisciplinary assessments.
* Identifying, investigating, and managing safeguarding issues to protect adults from abuse and neglect.
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Carrying out Mental Capacity Assessments and making Best Interest decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Recognized professional qualification in social work (e.g., MA, BA, BSc, Diploma, CQSW).
* Registration with Social Work England.
* Experience working with vulnerable adults, including those with learning disabilities and Autism.
* Knowledge of legislation such as the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
* Strong assessment and teamwork skills.
* Full UK driving license and access to a car are often required.
