The role also offers future development into wider compliance and management systems responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Lead health and safety activities across the business Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation and best practice Develop and maintain risk assessments and safe systems of work Conduct audits, inspections and accident investigations Deliver training, toolbox talks and safety awareness initiatives Monitor compliance records and statutory requirements Manage contractor safety and site inductions Promote a positive and proactive safety culture Support wider compliance and management system activitiesYou Will Ideally Have:NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification Previous Health & Safety experience within manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, construction or a similar environment Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation Experience carrying out audits, investigations and risk assessments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A practical, hands-on approach with strong organisational skillsDesirable:Manufacturing or production experience Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001* Experience supporting compliance or Integrated Management Systems (IMS)TPBN1_UKTJ
