About Us
At Resino Ltd, we specialise in crafting bespoke furniture using natural wood and epoxy resin, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Based in Cheddar, Somerset, our small and expert team produces unique, high-end pieces for a diverse range of clients and industries. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and practical Junior Resin & Wood Furniture Maker to join us and grow with the team.
The Role
We’re offering a hands-on, varied, and creative role ideal for someone looking to learn, develop and eventually take on more responsibility within a thriving workshop. You’ll work alongside experienced makers and be involved in the full production process – from raw timber to finished furniture.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and finishing natural wood components
* Mixing, pouring, and working with epoxy resin
* Creating moulds and forms for resin casting
* Operating CNC machines and using design software
* Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
* Supporting with furniture deliveries and on-site installations (occasional travel required)
* Monitoring and updating stock levels of materials and supplies
* Assisting in documenting the making process for marketing and social media
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a workshop or hands-on making environment (preferred but not essential)
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively
* A keen eye for detail and high standards of finish
* A strong work ethic and ability to see tasks through with minimal supervision
* A willingness to learn new skills and take initiative
* Physically fit and safety-conscious – some heavy lifting required
* A friendly, professional manner when dealing with clients
* Good computer literacy – experience with design software is a bonus
