We are recruiting for Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support children with SEND
Required for an immediate start
Salary Range £20,208.43 to £20,525.51 per annum (FTE) Emmaus Grade 3 (Point 3-4)
32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm with 30-minute lunch (Term-Time only)
Fixed term contract until Monday 20th July 2025
Our Lady & St Hubert’s Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint an outstanding and passionate level 2 teaching assistant, linked to SEND. The
successful candidate will be working with children with SEND primarily but would be expected to embrace opportunities to work throughout
school.

creative applicants to support children with SEND needs.
Key responsibilities are to provide targeted support for pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs and SEMH challenges. Assist in
implementing EHCP’s and individual learning plans. Use a range of communication tools and de-escalation strategies to support emotional
regulation and engagement. Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and families. Contribute to a safe, inclusive and respectful learning
environment.
We require someone who is committed to inclusion and who wants to make a positive difference. Someone who has previous experience
working with children with SEND, particularly in communication and SEMH. Demonstrates empath, patience and excellent communication skills.
Can manage challenging behaviours in a calm, proactive and supportive manner. Works well as part of a team and is committed to ongoing
professional development.
