Role: Project Manager- Mergers & Acquisitions
Location: Hybrid/Fletchers offices (travel to other locations will be required). We are based in the North West of England, with offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Bolton & Southport, as well as a team in Cambridge. We offer flexible working practices, balancing remote work with office collaboration.
About the Role
Fletcher Group is seeking an experienced M&A Project Manager to lead strategic acquisitions and integrations. You will manage the entire acquisition lifecycle, from due diligence to post-completion integration, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end delivery of M&A projects, including due diligence, pre-sign activities, integration, and post-integration deliverables.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and desired outcomes.
* Develop and lead communication and change management plans.
* Manage project milestones, timelines, resources, risks, and budgets.
* Engage with legal and HR teams for people and engagement activities.
* Provide guidance to other project managers and report to governance forums.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience of managing at least 5 successful M&A projects from definition to integration.
* Strong background in project or delivery management.
* Recognised project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM).
* Experience with complex projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to present to senior stakeholders and drive decision-making.
