Working Pattern: 3 days on-site, 2 days from home
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join a growing and collaborative team based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and supply chain knowledge who enjoys working with data, forecasting trends, and collaborating across multiple departments to support business performance.
The Role
As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for analysing sales and inventory data, managing stock levels across the supply chain, and providing data-driven insights to support planning and decision-making. You will work closely with Buying, Product, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure forecasts, priorities, and stock availability are aligned with business goals.
You will play a key role in improving forecast accuracy, supporting product launches and promotions, and helping the business maintain the right balance between stock availability, cash flow, and minimising excess inventory.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse historical sales data, sell-through trends, and stock performance to support inventory planning.
* Provide data-driven insights for product launches, new ranges, and promotional activity.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimise out-of-stocks and excess stock.
* Maintain awareness of supply lead times and optimal stock levels across the supply chain.
* Collaborate with Buying, Product, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to align forecasts and priorities.
* Track stock movements and monitor KPIs to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
* Prepare reports, proposals, and inventory reviews for stakeholder meetings.
* Participate in demand review and S&OP meetings.
* Monitor forecast accuracy and recommend improvements.
* Identify potential supply risks and propose mitigation plans.
* Support continuous improvement of planning processes, automation tools, and reporting systems.
* Use customer portals for EPOS data and attend customer calls where required.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Experience using ERP systems (X3 experience advantageous).
* Good understanding of supply chain principles, stock management, and lead times.
* Strong communication skills and ability to present data and insights clearly.
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
* Confident in customer-facing meetings when required.
