Job Description
A hands-on maintenance role, supporting the day-to-day operations of a health and fitness club, ensuring the building, equipment, and pool facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Salary - Up to 35k, depending on experience.
Hours - 40-hour week. Shifts to start as early as 6am and as late finish as 8pm. 1 in 3 Saturday work required with a day off in lieu. The client requires some flexibility with hours for the needs of the business from time to time
Key Responsibilities
* Facilities Maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and general repairs.
* Pool Plant Operations: Water testing, chemical balancing (Chlorine & pH), backwashing, and spa/shower area upkeep. (A pool plant course can be offered).
* Preventative Maintenance: PPM checks, logging issues in WAM system, and maintaining records.
* Security & Safety: Monitoring alarms, locks, fire extinguishers, and emergency procedures.
* Refurbishment & Deliveries: Assisting with redecoration and handling stock deliveries.
* Documentation: Keeping logs, stock takes and using basic Excel/Word tools.

* Pool Plant Operators Qualification
Essential:
