We're looking for a motivated and experienced Grocery Manager to join our team and help lead daily operations in our busy supermarket. If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoy leading teams to deliver excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Be part of a leadership team focused on doing things right – for customers, teams and the wider community
* Manage our grocery operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
* Maintain operational standards within the store
* Supervise and support our grocery team members
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally
* Monitor stock levels, merchandising, and store presentation
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company policies
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in supermarket or retail management
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* A proactive and hands-on approach to team support and store operations
To be successful in this role, we require:
* Ability to work under pressure and deal with challenging situations
* Able to work one weekend shift and public holidays
* Reliable, self-motivated, honest and enthusiastic with a positive and mature attitude
* Forklift License beneficial but not essential
