About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. In this role, you will plan and deliver care that promotes residents’ security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Tasks include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and supporting mental and physical activities, alongside medication administration.
An essential responsibility is maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships.
Preferred qualifications include a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with a willingness to pursue Level 3. Knowledge of person-centered care planning and dementia care is advantageous. The most vital qualities are positive energy, kindness, good communication, time management, and a caring attitude.
