The Role:
* Develop and maintain mechanical design information and management systems, ensuring integration with other disciplines for efficient manufacture and supply of new products (using SolidWorks and PDM Works).
* Collaborate across engineering disciplines to achieve optimal engineering solutions.
* Manage the evolution of standard upgrade options for products post-launch.
The Person:
* Minimum HNC in Engineering
* At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design, open to junior, graduate, and senior-level engineers.
* Ideally experience designing pressure vessels, tanks, rotating/flow equipment (valves, pumps, etc.) conveying systems, mechanical/material handling, special purpose machinery, etc.
* Understanding of European Directives, CE Marking, ASME standards, and North American pressure equipment regulations.
* 3D Modelling experience is a must. Ideally Solidworks but open to similar design packages such as Inventor or Solidedge, etc.
Salary & Benefits:
* £30,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)
* 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays
* 36.5 hour working week with flexible start times
* Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
* Friday: 7:30 am until 12 pm
* You can choose to work a full Friday and work a 9-day fortnight (Every other Friday off without affecting your holiday allowance) or finish at 12pm on Fridays
