Contract: Fixed Term until 31.8.2027, 8.45am -3.45pm (32.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Job overview
To provide assistance to teaching staff in meeting the educational, developmental and welfare needs of pupils in a special school, to assist teachers in the management and maintenance of school resources and to contribute to the supervision and welfare of pupils throughout the school.
Our SEN Teaching Assistants are the key to the progress and achievements of young people at Warmley Park and we strive to make all our support staff feel valued and supported. We offer a thorough training and induction programme and will ensure you have the support, skills, and tools you need to deliver quality care for each young person.
Our pupils need to be supported by staff who are committed to an unconditional positive regard approach.
Job requirements
•A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths
•Teaching Assistant qualification (Minimum level 3)
•Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes
•Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff
•Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students
•Believes behaviour is communication and values curiosity, connection and courage
