Office Manager
Your new companyA well-established,London-based professional services organisation is seeking aTemporary Office & Operations Administrator to support its busyheadquarters. The business operates within the consultancy sector and is knownfor delivering a high-quality, client-focused service across its operations.
This is afull-time, office-based role (Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00, 37.5 hoursper week). The initial contract will run for 3-6 months, with a strongpossibility of permanent opportunities depending on business needs andperformance.Your new roleAs theOffice & Operations Administrator, you will be the first point of contactfor visitors and play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-dayrunning of the London office. You will support both internal teams and externalstakeholders, helping to maintain a professional, welcoming, and well-organisedworkplace.Your responsibilitieswill include:
* Actingas the main point of contact for guests and visitors, ensuring a positive andprofessional welcome
* Managingmeeting room bookings, diaries, and associated logistics
* Coordinatingappointments and liaising with clients and stakeholders in person and by phone
* Organisingcatering for meetings and internal or external events
* Supportingthe delivery of office and client events, including staff engagementinitiatives
* Liaising with building management, facilitiesproviders, security, and reception teams on day-to-dayoffice matters
* Supportingonboarding processes for new starters and coordinating leaver processes in linewith global procedures
* Handlinga wide range of administrative tasks to support office operations and businesssupport teams
* Coordinatingstationery and business card orders across multiple regional locations
* Managingoffice supplier accounts and deliveries, including refreshments and consumables
* Workingclosely with central business support colleagues and contributing to regularupdates and meetings
* Actingas a point of contact for basic IT and connectivity issues within the officeand liaising with technical teams as required
* Preparingand issuing internal communications and office updates
* Maintainingbuilding access controls, including issuing and cancelling access passes
This is avaried, hands-on role offering exposure to multiple parts of thebusiness within a fast-paced environment.What you'll need to succeedTo besuccessful in this role, you will bring strong office administration experienceand a proactive, service-driven mindset. You should have:Previousexperience in an office support, facilities, or administrative roleAstrong commitment to delivering excellent service and maintaining aprofessional office environmentAdvancedproficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, andPowerPointAfriendly, approachable manner and confidence interacting with a wide range ofstakeholdersExcellentorganisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectivelyStrongmultitasking and logistical coordination experienceTheability to build positive working relationships across teams and functionsA reliable, flexible approach to work within a fullyoffice-based setting
