Overview
Are you looking for a new role, to flex your skill set, make your own by taking on a new challenge? We have a great opportunity for an experienced electrician to join our team helping to manage repairs and support new developments at our council properties. This is an exciting opportunity based within our trade team that helps us to deliver our maintenance services across Test Valley Borough Council.
The team
The trade team you would be joining is made up of professional and friendly, supportive colleagues. The team work together and take on all aspects of construction work from electrics and plumbing to carpentry and building.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our electrician, you’ll get to take on not only electrical work but a whole variety of jobs, as well as being given the opportunity to ‘multi-task’ and get involved in other areas of the team’s work. You will be assisting with the established team of tradesmen carrying out maintenance and refurbishment work across a range of commercial properties.
Salary And Experience
We are looking for an all‑round experienced individual and a full driving licence is required, which enables you to drive a Council‑owned van.
Working flexibly

Test Valley Borough Council’s Property and Asset Management Service manages the council’s buildings and this includes; utility management, lease management, preventative and reactive maintenance activities, workspace management, security management and cleaning
