Opportunity: Floating Support Worker
We are seeking a Floating Support Worker with the skills and experience to manage a caseload of service users, providing person-centred support related to their recovery and housing needs.
Every day is different, and we treat every person as an individual. Flexibility, curiosity, and good listening skills are essential.

* Location: Peterborough
* Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
* Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 (dependent on experience, pro rata for part-time)
* Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2026
Role Responsibilities
1. Identify and assess individuals in the community, developing recovery plans to help them achieve their goals.
2. Establish relationships and referral pathways for those at risk of homelessness or in suitable accommodation.
3. Support service users with housing needs, managing tenancies, and supporting treatment goals.
4. Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies and resources.
5. Provide outreach support, empowering individuals to make positive life choices.
6. Advocate for individuals within multi-agency settings.
7. Encourage the development of life skills and recovery capital.
Candidate Requirements
1. Understanding of substance misuse issues and relevant experience.
2. Knowledge of housing issues, including cuckooing.
3. Knowledge of interventions to support recovery.
4. Experience in delivering person-centred care.
5. Excellent communication and IT skills.
6. Proactive, able to work independently with good time management.
7. Ability to work calmly under pressure.
