Are you an experienced transport professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role? We are working with a well-established container haulage company based in Immingham, looking to appoint a proactive and hands-on Depot Manager to oversee their busy operation.

The Role:
As Depot Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. You will lead from the front, managing drivers, planners, and office staff, while maintaining high service standards for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring all deliveries and collections run efficiently
* Manage and support a team of drivers and office staff
* Ensure full compliance with transport regulations, including driver hours and vehicle maintenance
* Monitor KPIs, performance, and costs to drive operational improvements
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
* Handle any operational issues, including delays, breakdowns, and driver queries
Requirements:
* Proven experience within container haulage or general haulage operations
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
* Strong knowledge of UK transport compliance and regulations
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment
