An amazing, fast-moving luxury Brand is recruiting for an experienced Insurance Manager, to oversee and develop our insurance portfolio and claims management processes and play a critical role in safeguarding the Group’s assets and operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the management of all corporate insurance programmes, ensuring comprehensive coverage that aligns with the Brand’s strategic and operational needs.
• Oversee the end-to-end insurance claims process, including notification, investigation, negotiation, and settlement of claims, minimising company exposure and maximising recovery where applicable.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation’s insurance strategy, reviewing policies and procedures to ensure ongoing suitability and cost-effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and other external partners, ensuring optimal service levels and value for money.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including Procurement, Finance, Legal, Operations, and HR) to identify emerging risks and insurance requirements as the business evolves.
• Monitor market trends, legislative changes, and emerging risks, proactively advising the Head of Risk & Compliance on potential impacts or opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing up-to-date insights on insurance coverage, claims activity, and areas for development.
• Support the annual insurance renewal process, including data gathering, risk presentations, and negotiations with providers.
• Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of insurance and claims management, embedding best practice and fostering a culture of risk awareness across the business.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, legislative, and company standards relating to insurance and claims handling.
• Assist in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities as part of the broader risk and compliance function.
Key Skills & Experience
• Extensive experience managing corporate insurance programmes, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance products, claims processes, and risk management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, IRM) are highly desirable.
This will be a hybrid role (3 days in the office and 2 days working from home) and you can be based at the Woking OR the Bicester office. Excellent salary/benefits provided, but candidates must be available on reduced notice OR available immediately
