Extra Care Scheme Support Worker -Lichfield Are you caring, compassionate and wanting to make a real difference to the lives of others? Our extra care village supports long term packages of care to residents in one building. Each service user lives within their own self-contained apartment, with their own front door. Our support workers are on site to provide personal care and support services. The role will include support with: * Cleaning of communal areas and standards * Security checks * Personal care - washing, showering and toileting * Medication administration * Food preparation * Domestic help including general cleaning * Social support - attending residents meeting and communal areas * Answering emergency call bells - Attending to the individual apartments * Greeting visitors to the scheme and answering telephone calls as required About You Our support workers are required to work nights 9.45pm - 7am and days 6.45am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm on a rota pattern including alternate weekends. Roster to cover 2 night shifts per week and 1 day shift. Nexxus care require a level of flexibility to cover additional shifts to cover sickness, annual leave and customer needs as required. Candidates must be able to commute to Beacon Park Village, Lichfield for shift patterns as above.
