The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our energy practice. This role is ideal for a high-performing recruiter with strong market knowledge, an established network, and a track record of billing success within the energy sector. You will take ownership of a defined vertical (e.g., renewables, grid & transmission, energy trading, oil & gas, hydrogen, battery storage), driving both client acquisition and candidate delivery while contributing to the strategic growth of the division. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage long-term client relationships within the energy market Identify and win new business through strategic business development Deliver retained and contingent recruitment solutions for mid-to-senior level roles Source, assess, and place high-calibre candidates across technical and commercial disciplines Maintain deep knowledge of market trends, salary benchmarking, and competitor activity Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from briefing through to offer negotiation and placement Mentor junior consultants where appropriate and contribute to team performance Consistently achieve and exceed individual revenue targets Requirements 2 years’ experience in recruitment, with proven success in the energy market Strong billing history and demonstrable business development capability Established client and candidate network within a specific energy vertical Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills Commercial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously Resilient, driven, and performance-oriented If you’re driven, commercially minded, and have experience in the Renewable Energy, Power & Grid, or Industrial sector, this is your chance to take the next step in your career.
