Are you looking to work in a busy and developing environment within theatres at W&C theatres? We are looking to recruit staff within gynae, obstetric, and paediatric theatres, who can demonstrate a dynamic approach to their work and who have commitment, drive, and enthusiasm to help in the development of our services.
The post holder is responsible for supporting the registered peri-operative practitioner in the delivery of direct patient care procedures and transfers, mainly within Robotic Theatres.
The post holder will work flexibly alongside team members to meet the needs of the service.
Communication and Relationship Skills
Supports patients by communicating information using a variety of methods to ensure effective understanding and reporting the outcome to the registered practitioner in charge.
Contributes to effective communication between members of the multidisciplinary team, taking personal responsibility to update and share information. Provides support for patients at all times by communicating effectively to meet their needs.
Knowledge, Training, and Experience
Uses knowledge and experience to deliver routine tasks as agreed with the peri-operative practitioner. Follows agreed policies and procedures.
You will need to be prepared to work within a busy environment and be forward-thinking and passionate about delivering a high standard of care.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential. You must have a clear idea regarding your career development and be a team player with a flexible attitude to meet service needs.
Working Hours
Currently, the post covers Monday-Friday with on-call at weekends and bank holidays, but this may change in the future to cover shifts 24/7.
