Role This apprentice role will enable you to learn the skills required to be able to assist the production department, resources, and systems to ensure the company maintains a high-quality product, always in line with company policies, regulatory standards, and statutory guidelines / deadlines. At the end of the 4-year apprenticeship, with the training provided and qualifications achieved, we expect that you will become fully competent at being an electrical engineer with skills in the following areas: Follow PPM inspections to maintain plant reliability. Complete maintenance and fault finding on a highly automated production facility. Understand the use of condition monitoring and how it guides maintenance activities. Read and interpret technical drawings. Experience with pumps, mechanical drives, bearings, and fans. Refurbishment and in-house repair of equipment. Reporting on Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
