You’ll be joining a fast‑growing organisation undergoing significant global expansion. As part of a developing Billing Operations function, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Order‑to‑Cash processes and supporting thepany’s ability to scale internationally.
Your new roleAs a Billing Operations Specialist, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end billing activities across new business, renewals, and amendments. Initially focused on UK transactions, the role will evolve to support a global portfolio. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate invoicing, resolve billing issues, and drive improvements across systems and processes.
Key responsibilities
1. Manage end‑to‑end billing for new deals, renewals, and amendments
2. Generate accurate, timely invoices aligned with contractual terms
3. Reconcile billing data across multiple systems and resolve discrepancies
4. Oversee monthly renewals and validate pricing, terms, and billing schedules
5. Act as a primary contact for internal teams and customers on billing queries
6. Work with Sales, Customer Success, Contracts, and Finance to ensure clean deal execution
7. Highlight upstream data gaps and escalate risks with clear solutions
8. Support process improvements, workflow standardisation, and system enhancements
9. Build capability to support multi‑region, multi‑currency billing
10. Provide additional support during month‑end and quarter‑end cycles
What you’ll need to succeed
11. Strong experience in Billing Operations, Order‑to‑Cash, or finance operations
12. Background in high‑volume,plex billing environments
13. Experience with SaaS or subscription billing is advantageous
14. Confident using ERP systems (ideally NetSuite) and CRM tools such as Salesforce
15. Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations and lookups
16. High attention to detail and accuracy
17. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to managepeting priorities
18. Confidentmunicator with the ability to challenge constructively
