Business Development Manager – Electronics
Location: Midlands (Remote/Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 base + Commission (OTE £65,000–£70,000) + Car + Benefits

The Opportunity
A well-established electronics manufacturer is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Midlands. You will manage a portfolio of existing clients while developing new business opportunities, supporting customers in delivering innovative solutions.
This is a consultative, client-focused sales role. You will work closely with customers, engineers, and project teams to understand needs and help bring projects to life. This is not a transactional role—you will have the chance to influence projects and build lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Grow sales and profitability across the Midlands by expanding project opportunities and deepening engagement with existing accounts
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
* Represent the business as a trusted partner for customers
* Manage projects from initial concept through full delivery (sales cycles typically 6 months to multiple years)
* Reactivate dormant accounts and convert high-potential prospects into loyal customers
* Provide reports, forecasts, and market insights to management
* Conduct face-to-face customer appointments within the Midlands, with occasional national or international travel
About You
* 2–3 years’ proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in a technical or engineering-led environment
* Track record of managing long-term customer relationships and complex projects
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Self-motivated, energetic, and commercially driven
* Comfortable using CRM systems to manage pipelines and track activity
* Full UK driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally
