About The Role
We are recruiting for a Health and Safety Support to join our expanding team based at Manufacturing site in Barton. The candidate will work 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that Risk Assessments/Safe Systems of work/COSHH/MAC requirements are met
* Proactively work with other areas of the business to develop SHE culture
* Conduct daily, weekly and monthly safety audits as well as behavioural observations
* Challenging unsafe behaviours and recognising areas of improvement
* Investigate accidents through contributory factors to identify the root cause
About You
Skills and Knowledge:
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent required
* A knowledge of ISO is desired
* NEBOSH General Certificate (advantageous)
* Machinery knowledge (advantageous)
* Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment
